Education Qualification:-

Junior Engineer (Civil)	(i) Should have passed Matriculation Examination form any school/institute situated within Himachal Pradesh (ii) Must possess three years regular full time Diploma or degree in civil engineering from an institution/university
Junior Engineer (Mechanical)	(i) Should have passed Matriculation Examination form any school/institute situated within Himachal Pradesh (ii) Must possess three years regular full time Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Automobile/Production/Aeronautical or Marine engineering from an institution/university
Junior Draughtsman	(i) Should have passed Matriculation Examination form any school/institute situated within Himachal Pradesh (ii) At Least two years certificate course in the trade of Draughtsmanship (Civil) or its equivalent from a recognized ITI
JOA (IT)	(i) Should have passed Plus Two Examination form any school/institute situated within Himachal Pradesh OR Matriculation from recognized Board of School Education with one/two years Diploma/Certificate from an Industrial Training Institute in Information Technology (ii) Computer Typing Speed of 30 Words per minutes in English or 25 words per minutes in Hindi
Steno Typist	(i) Should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent from a Board of School Education/University recognized by the H.P.Govt. (ii) Must possess the following speed in shorthand and typewriting in both the languages i.e. English and Hindi at the time of initial recruitment:- Speed in Shorthand: English 80 WPM Hindi 70 WPM Speed in typewriting: English 40 WPM Hindi 30 WPM (iii) Should have the knowledge of word processing in computer as prescribed by the recruiting authority.
Peon	Should be a Middle Pass or its equivalent from a recognized Board
Chowkidar	Should be Middle Pass or its equivalent from a recognized Board

HP Public Works Department JOA JE Peon and Steno Recruitment 2024 Age Limit:-

Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age: 45 Years
Between 18 to 45 as on 1st January 2023 for all categories and 5 years in upper age is to be relaxed as per para 11 of the department of Personnel, Govt. of HP letter dated 22nd June 2020.
